PLAYING

The USV Dragons compete with pride, backed by our nationally recognized game design and development programs. Under the leadership of Head Esports Coach Alex Holler, players train to sharpen their skills, build strong team dynamics, and represent USV at the highest level.

Becoming a Dragon starts with becoming a USV student. Once enrolled, you’ll have the chance to try out for the team and put your skills to the test.

Qualified players can receive scholarships up to $2,000 per trimester.

More Than Competition

Esports at USV isn’t just about winning matches — it’s about developing skills that go far beyond the arena. Students gain experience in:

Team management and coaching
Game production and streaming
Marketing and content creation
Strategy, leadership, and collaboration
