About

Nicholas Goodwin

Nicholas Goodwin is an adjunct faculty member in General Education at the University of Silicon Valley. He has been teaching college-level composition courses since 2013 and holds an MFA in Creative Writing from San José State University.

Nicholas is a published author whose work includes The Body Dysmorphic, a book of poetry; the zero-cost OER textbook Integrated Reading and Writing (2023); and a variety of poems and short stories featured in Leaf by Leaf Literary Magazine, REED Literary Magazine, and Caesura.

He also maintains an educational YouTube channel called Grammar HIITs, where he shares free and accessible grammar instruction for students of all backgrounds. With a passion for empowering writers, Nicholas blends creative insight and practical skills to help students grow as communicators in academic and professional settings.
