About Jeff Hanson
Digital Audio Technology
Jeff Hanson is a drummer and sound designer who is originally from the Bay Area. He studied music at CSU Northridge where he performed with the renowned “A Band” jazz orchestra. He toured with the Glenn Miller Orchestra, Englebert Humperdinck, Siavach – Persian pop artist, Rejoice Gospel Ensemble, and several cruise lines. He received his master’s degree in Music & Studio Arts at San Jose State University where he studied the works of Morton Subotnick and their contribution to the world of sound art and electronic music technologies. Primary fields of interest include film scoring, sound design, jazz, and Brazilian musical traditions.
