Get Your Foot in the Door Sooner

Every Epic Quest Starts with a Plan…

But don’t worry! You’re not taking on this adventure alone. We’ve got your back at every stage of your journey to the future you’ve always dreamed about.

From the day you start at USV, you’ll have 24/7 access to the resources you need to level up your future. Resources like the College Central Network, a one-stop opportunity shop for past and present USV rockstars, and a place where the companies you want to work for post jobs and look to connect with fresh talent like you!

We’ll also help you set the stage for your quest with our Career Ready Plan – a 4-stage plan designed to prep you for your epic launch after graduation.

Before You Graduate

Get Ready to Level Up

At every stage of the plan, you can count on real support from our career services squad. You’ll go one-on-one with a Career Advisor whose mission is to help you finish the game.

STAGE 1: PREPARE

This is the prep part of the plan. You’ll start by doing a deep dive into - you! We’ll help you figure out what your ideal future looks like and how you get there.

STAGE 2: EXPLORE

Now the fun really begins when you get knee deep in everything you need to know about the career you’re headed towards. You’ll get the inside scoop on all of it - from what kind of skills the companies you want to work for are looking for, to how much you can expect to earn. We’ll help you build a bomb resume, and you’ll be cranking away on a portfolio that will grab the attention of those rockstar companies you dream about working for.

STAGE 3: DEVELOP

You’re really rolling now, and it’s almost that time where you start walking the walk and putting what you’ve learned into practice in the real world.

Game on…

STAGE 4: LAUNCH

It’s game on at this stage. You’ll be doing the things that will launch your career the right way like finalizing that show-stopping portfolio and getting practice to nail those interviews that are right around the corner after graduation. Our graduate employment assistance also offers mock interviews (from setup to follow-up) so you’re more than ready when it’s time for the real thing.

After Graduation

We call them rockstars for a reason

USV alumni are the jewels in our virtual crown. You’ll know why when you see how they’ve blazed epic trails of their own with some of the biggest, baddest tech companies out there.
