FAFSA on the Web The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Used to apply for all forms of federal aid and most forms of need-based aid.
Federal Student Aid ID (FSAID)
The FSA ID is a personally created username and password that provides students and/or parents with access to the Department of Education’s online systems. It can also serve as a legal signature for the FAFSA and loan documents.
National Student Loan Database System (NSLDS) The National Student Loan Database System (NSLDS) is the US Department of Education's central database for student aid. You can use the website to make inquires about your Title IV loans and/or Pell grants. The website displays information on loan and/or grant amounts, outstanding balances, loan statuses and disbursements. The NSLDS Student Access website is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. In order to use the NSLDS Student Access website, you will need to provide your Social Security number (SSN), the first two digits of your last name, your Date of Birth and your PIN.
