More than ten percent of our students are veterans—and that number is growing fast. USV offers dedicated admissions advisors trained to help you transition from service to student life. Our financial aid team includes a VA specialist who will guide you through every step of your benefits process.

How to Use Your VA Education Benefits
Using your benefits at USV is straightforward and supported every step of the way.
Submit your VA paperwork.
Send your Certificate of Eligibility (COE) or confirmation page to our Financial Aid department.
Register for your classes.
Choose Veteran Benefits as your payment method when enrolling.
Settle your tuition.
If funds are sent directly to you, our team will help you coordinate payment before the start of class.
Verify your enrollment each month.
Confirm your attendance with the VA through WAVE or by calling 877-823-2378.
