Vanessa Pack is a dedicated and compassionate educator with over 20 years of experience teaching and mentoring students from preschool through college. She specializes in English, reading, and writing instruction, with a deep commitment to helping students discover their voice, build confidence, and grow into strong, effective communicators.

Vanessa holds a Master of Education in Adult Education and Administration from Jones International University, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude, and a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies from the University of La Verne. Her professional background includes curriculum design, instructional leadership, and technology integration in diverse educational settings.

She is the founder of Innovative Edventures, a resource hub created to help educators implement engaging, tech-integrated, student-centered teaching practices. Vanessa also serves as a Nearpod PioNear, a global ambassador supporting educators in using interactive technology to deepen learning and boost student engagement. She is also the co-founder of the Ayden Rae Foundation, a nonprofit organization that provides advocacy, education, and support to families affected by pregnancy illnesses.

Vanessa’s path to becoming a college professor was shaped by personal perseverance. As a single mother pursuing her bachelor’s degree, she balanced work, school, and parenting. Through life’s many challenges—including illness and loss—she remained focused on her dream of becoming an educator. Her lived experiences allow her to relate to students navigating real-world obstacles, and she strives to create a classroom that is supportive, inclusive, and empowering.

Vanessa lives in Southern California with her husband, their youngest son Eragon, and their two dogs. One of her favorite projects is collaborating with Eragon on an original role-playing video game—an endeavor that fuels his passion for writing, art, storytelling, and history.
