About Rima Bhumbla
Computer Science
Rima Bhumbla is a Computer Science Adjunct Professor at the University of Silicon Valley with over 30 years of experience as a software developer and quality assurance expert. Throughout her career, she has worked with a wide range of technologies, from foundational programming languages such as C, C++, and Java to modern web development frameworks like Express and React.
Rima brings a real-world perspective to the classroom, helping students connect technical concepts to industry applications. She is passionate about preparing future developers with practical skills and problem-solving abilities to succeed in evolving technical environments.
She holds an M.S. in Computer Science from San Diego State University in California and an M.S. in Mathematics from the Indian Institute of Technology in New Delhi, India.
