About Isadora Petrovsky
General Education
Isadora has her BA in English from Long Island University and her MFA in Writing from UC San Diego. She is a speculative fiction writer and researcher (think fantasy, science fiction, and horror). Her most recent publication is her short story “Three Hearts for Three Castles” is in Silly Goose Press’s fifth issue. She is currently a Submissions Editor for Hugo Award winning Uncanny Magazine. Her interests include reading, D&D, and her cat Basil. When she isn't writing, she's teaching it.
In her lectures, expect non-traditional creative tools to help shape students' writing. Foregrounding the students' voices and their engagement with the material is most important to her.
