Dr. Diana Asaad serves as the University of Silicon Valley’s Chief Academic Officer and Provost, leading all areas of curriculum, academic operations, and student affairs. With over a decade of executive experience in higher education, Dr. Asaad has guided institutions through transformative growth, accreditation success, and academic innovation.

Her passion for experiential and personalized adaptive learning is what drew her to the University of Silicon Valley—a creative hub where learning meets innovation. That passion continues to drive every initiative she leads, from integrating generative AI into programs to advancing competency-based education models. Dr. Asaad believes deeply in the power of faculty to shape not only what students learn but who they become. Their influence, inside and outside the classroom, inspires her ongoing commitment to protect academic freedom while ensuring institutional excellence and an outstanding student learning experience.

A WSCUC peer reviewer, Dr. Asaad remains closely connected to the accrediting community, continuously strengthening her understanding of and commitment to academic quality and integrity. Dr. Asaad holds a Doctorate in Education Leadership, where her dissertation explored the effectiveness of personalized adaptive learning on student experience. Her values—excellence, integrity, and transformation through education—continue to guide her work as she leads the University of Silicon Valley into its next era of innovation and academic distinction.
