About Demitrius Pennebaker
Math & Science
Demitrius Pennebaker is a Game Design & Development Adjunct Professor at the University of Silicon Valley and a seasoned game maker with over 20 years of experience. He has worked across a variety of development roles, from founding an indie game studio to creating military simulations and developing multiplatform AAA titles.
His credits include acclaimed games such as Saints Row, Battleborn, and XCOM2, showcasing his versatility across genres and platforms. Throughout his career, Demitrius has contributed to both independent projects and major studio productions, bringing a wide range of insights to his teaching.
Dedicated to student success, Demitrius strives to bring a real-world perspective into the classroom. He values individual advancement and focuses on preparing students for the realities of the game development industry.
He holds a B.F.A. from Savannah College of Art and Design and a Master of Interactive Technology (M.I.T.) from The Guildhall at Southern Methodist University.
