Danai Trotman is a dedicated educator, consultant, and health professional with a multifaceted career spanning communication, business, and nutritional science. She holds a diverse academic foundation, including a Bachelor of Science in Communication, a Master of Business Administration (MBA), and a Master of Science in Nutrition. Currently, she is further advancing her expertise as a Doctoral Candidate, focusing on high-level research and academic excellence.

With a robust background in both secondary and higher education, Danai serves as an AVID High School Teacher and a Dual Credit Professor. Her collegiate teaching portfolio is extensive, including adjunct faculty roles at multiple colleges, where she specializes in Communications. Beyond the classroom, she has made significant contributions to the health and wellness industry as the former owner and lead nutritionist of Division One Nutrition in Houston, Texas. In this role, she combined her business acumen with nutritional expertise to provide meal replacement solutions and wellness counseling to the community.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Danai is a devoted wife to her husband, Bill, and a proud mother of three. Her transition from business ownership to full-time academia and consulting reflects her passion for lifelong learning and her commitment to fostering student engagement through diverse instructional strategies. Whether she is proctoring state exams, developing curriculum, or mentoring the next generation of communicators, Danai remains a steadfast advocate for educational growth and holistic well-being.
