About Dr. Clair Stocks
General Education
Dr. Clair Stocks is a General Education Adjunct Professor at the University of Silicon Valley with more than 20 years of experience in higher education. Her primary focus has been in accreditation and institutional effectiveness, supporting numerous institutions across a variety of roles.
As an instructor, Clair has taught undergraduate and graduate courses in business and leadership, English, humanities, research methods, and capstone projects. She is passionate about helping students develop skills in evidence-based decision making, critical thinking, purposeful communication, and confident, empathetic leadership.
Clair’s research interests include mentorship’s impact on women leaders and issues related to educational access. She holds dual undergraduate degrees in English and Philosophy from the University of La Verne, an M.S. in Management & Leadership from Western Governors University, and an Ed.D. in Leadership with a Higher Education focus from American College of Education.
