Dr. Breanna Gentile is a clinical psychologist and UX researcher with expertise in trauma-informed design and human-centered systems. She earned her PhD in Clinical Psychology from Palo Alto University, along with dual master’s degrees in Counseling and Clinical Psychology, and a BA in Psychology from Gonzaga University.

Her career spans clinical practice, research, and product design, including leadership roles at the Center for Youth Wellness and Esteem Therapeutics. Dr. Gentile’s work focuses on improving outcomes for children and families affected by adverse childhood experiences and toxic stress, while also shaping technology that promotes well-being.

At the University of Silicon Valley, she brings this interdisciplinary perspective into the classroom, helping students connect human behavior, ethics, and technology through a polymathic lens.
