Adjunct Faculty

Amrinder Singh Jassar is a 3D Generalist, educator, and VR creator with over 15 years of experience in real-time 3D production. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology and a master’s degree in Animation & VFX. His career includes work on commercials, feature films, animated shorts, and games, along with more than a decade of teaching undergraduate and graduate students since 2012. His 3D short Sidekick received 12 awards, and his second film, Dino Hunt, is currently in production.

Amrinder’s expertise spans the full 3D pipeline, including modeling, rigging, animation, lighting, look development, and real-time workflows in tools such as Unreal Engine and Autodesk Maya. In both the studio and the classroom, he combines technical rigor with clear storytelling, preparing the next generation of artists for the evolving demands of the industry.

In recent years, he has focused on Sikh history through immersive virtual reality. Under VR Sikh Projects, Amrinder designs experiences that allow audiences to step directly into historic events. After the success of his first project, he committed to building high-quality VR that is both accessible and community-driven. His approach emphasizes sustainability by partnering with organizations that host the experiences and training local volunteers to run them.

Alongside his VR work, Amrinder develops new pipelines that integrate AI tools increasingly used in entertainment and gaming. These innovations improve quality while reducing costs, making advanced 3D and VR production more efficient. His work continues to bridge culture, education, and technology through immersive storytelling.
