About Eric Rajasalu
Vice President of Enrollment Management
Eric Rajasalu is a collaborative and results-driven higher education executive with more than two decades of leadership experience across enrollment management, marketing, admissions, and operations. He currently serves as Vice President of Enrollment Management at the University of Silicon Valley, where he has driven 45% year-over-year new student enrollment growth and led a transformative rebranding initiative that repositioned the 135-year-old institution for long-term success.
Previously, Eric held senior executive roles at Trident University International, including Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President of Marketing, Admissions, and Outreach, where he optimized institutional performance, strengthened student outcomes, and implemented data-driven systems to improve efficiency and accountability. Earlier in his career, he served in multiple executive capacities at Heald College, spearheading marketing and admissions strategy, regulatory compliance, and enterprise system transitions during a period of significant institutional change.
In addition to his university leadership roles, Eric co-founded Thinktomi, a Silicon Valley–based education startup that delivered skills-based entrepreneurship programs through experiential learning.
Eric earned a Master of Arts in Education with a focus on Multicultural Counseling and a Bachelor of Arts in International Business from San Diego State University. A recognized strategist and mentor, he is known for fostering high-performing teams, aligning strategy with measurable results, and keeping students at the center of every decision.
