About Brian Galietti
Chief Financial Officer
Brian Galietti is the Chief Financial Officer at the University of Silicon Valley, where he oversees all aspects of financial strategy, planning, and operations for the institution. With more than 12 years of experience in higher-education finance, Brian has led initiatives to strengthen financial performance, enhance Title IV compliance, and implement data-driven decision frameworks that align fiscal discipline with student-centered outcomes.
He also played a key role in supporting the successful acquisition of a higher-education Online Program Management company, guiding financial due diligence, integration planning, and post-acquisition operational alignment to ensure a smooth and strategic transition.
Before entering higher education, Brian spent six years in the civil-engineering industry, managing complex infrastructure projects that required precision, analytical rigor, and cross-functional collaboration—skills that continue to inform his leadership approach in academic finance.
Brian holds an MBA from Arizona State University and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Michigan State University. While completing his undergraduate studies, he co-authored a conference paper as part of a research partnership between Michigan State University and the University of Grenoble, reflecting his early commitment to innovation and international collaboration. His background uniquely bridges technical expertise and financial stewardship, positioning him as a strategic partner to institutional leadership in advancing innovation, accountability, and sustainable growth.
