Choose the Game Art Concentration and learn how to coax out characters’ personalities through their movements and animations, discover what makes great video game levels so immersive, and create stunning environmental art for current-gen console games, mobile games and virtual worlds. Or go with University of Silicon Valley’s innovative Game Writing Concentration and join the elite ranks of writers and narrative designers working to push the boundaries of this bold new storytelling frontier. University of Silicon Valley students in the Game Art degree concentration create visually striking 3D art and learn how to implement those art pieces into a game engine. You'll focus on topics such as level design, storytelling, and team-oriented project creation for multiple platforms.
The Game Writing degree concentration is focused on providing University of Silicon Valley students with the professional skills necessary to conceptualize, develop and implement powerful stories in video games. You will learn game and level design while taking a deep dive into the narrative side of game development.
