Dr. Adam Ruch

The Department of Arts and Sciences is led by Dr. Adam Ruch, who holds a PhD in Media and Communications. His research focuses on videogames as art, media, and culture. He has published works in scholarly journals such as Games and Culture and Game Studies, as well as mainstream media outlets such as Kotaku and PC PowerPlay. Dr. Ruch has worked as a teacher and administrator in higher education since 2009, and joined USV in 2019 after relocating from Sydney, Australia.
