Ross Petersen
As a Grammy-nominated music professional with over 20 years of experience, Ross has recorded, produced and mixed some of the industry’s top artists, including Bruce Springsteen, Shania Twain, Train, John Mayer, Phil Phillips, Five For Fighting, Gavin Degraw, Stevie Wonder, Keith Richards, Sheryl Crow and the Goo Goo Dolls. Beside his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Berklee College of Music, his credits include over 30 gold and platinum certifications, top Billboard chart accomplishments, TEC award nominations and memberships with AES, the Music Business Association and he is a voting member of the Grammy Awards (NARAS).
In addition, Ross founded Fermata Music Group, and has been a creative liaison for major media and tech companies such as Google and Apple’s iTunes. He has composed original music and integrated concepts for national TV, radio, and web series for global brands such as Microsoft, Toyota and Comcast and is a current contributor to YouTube’s music library and Facebook’s sound collection. Ross is also a dedicated educator with a diverse background who strives to bring as much industry experience and perspective into the classroom as possible. He is a regular contributor at Berklee College of Music, Stanford University and NYU.
