University of Silicon Valley is proud to be a jam site for another awesome event. Campus facilities will be open 24hrs a day for the duration of the event. You must be at least 18 years old and be fully vaccinated to participate.
You do not need to be an active game developer to participate. Many game developers and game dev students will be in attendance, though, so it will be an excellent way to network and learn!
All games will have the same theme, which will be announced at our kickoff on Friday. If you have more questions about how the Global Game Jam works, visit globalgamejam.org. We will provide dinner the first night and we'll also have designated quiet zones for teams needing the space to concentrate. There are several food choices within walking distance of USV's campus in case you're craving something different as well.
We'll Provide:
• Outlets
• Wifi
• Networking
• Drinks and Snacks
• Parking
• Refrigerators
• Vending Machines
• Onsite Security
You'll Bring:
You'll want to bring anything you need to make a game over the weekend. We will not be providing laptops, software, cords, controllers, adapters, etc. so make sure you bring what's relevant to your needs. You'll also want to make sure you have your government issued ID and your vaccination card. You must be fully vaccinated to be admitted (2 weeks after your last vaccination dose).
